Makes me worry about the arms I just refurbished and installed. X axis bushings and ball joints wasn't cheap

Good looking truck! 2.5 Gen access cab with a GFC - nice taste.

Odd question, but that fork mount in the bed that turns the bars to sit the bars flush with the side of the bed - any chance that's a part I can buy off of the shelf/internet or was that custom made?

Edit: I went back and read that post closer - it was fabbed. Any chance you made extras?

Super easy fab project if you have access to a welder. I just bought a cheap, steel fork mount and cut it up. You kinda need to match the HT angle for it to work, which I assume is why no one makes them.

Bring me a mount to cut up and a case of banquet and I'll make ya one!

I have one of those steel mounts to donate to the cause. It's for my old V1 Ripley, so it's a 100x15mm thru-axle.

I can get away with no mount with my full suspension as the head tube angle ends up being just off of vertical so I just put the fork directly at the front of the BedRug and keep it vertical with two cam straps to the tie down points at the front of the bed. The downside is that with a short bed, I have the wedge the rear wheel toward the tail light since the wheelbase is too long.

Unfortunately no welder here. If I were closer to Steamboat I would definitely be taking you up on that!

Joining up on the thread thanks to your help on another.

I visited Steamboat a few years ago... epic times on the slopes--plus great memories after sundown taking my wife up to a fancy dinner at the lodge via snowcat or whatever.

But then I crashed our rental car trying to get to the hot springs, and they guy I hit was like super pissed at me for some reason. So still kinda on the fence about Steamboat... but still want to come back.

    Cheers!

There's your problem. Growing a beard is like the opposite of trying. It's one of the most passive activities there is.

Not much going on in here. Drove it to Idaho to meet up with @Reh5108 last month and took almost zero pictures. Still so nice to be able to just take off and have the truck set and not worry about getting it ready beforehand.

You need to make it to Moab Ryan to give me back my tupperware you filled with Cherries. :boink:

I have done a bit of audio work recently. One of my tweeters was dead, so replaced the JBLs with some Infinity reference components, and swapped the powered sub from the 1st gen over being it didn't fit anymore. :anonymous:

And finally got a full-size ish spare by the way of a 255/80r17 Wildpeak. Kinda debating going down to that size so I don't have to do more tire clearancing anyways. I do need to do the mod to move the spare tire winch back an inch for diff clearance though.

I realized I still had that 10 minutes after you left. I've been thinking about it. Hopefully I can get the new manifold and down pipe made before then.

Haven't stitched together a pano in a bit. This spot was deserving.

New tires - 285/75r17 C rated Falken RTs, crown performance brake lines, and a trip to UT to check out the eclipse. I'm very impressed with how this rig does on some more challenging wheeling for what it is. Great balance of capability without going over the top.
