I see these available now on the website, how do we order the cross brace, and any pics of that on the truck we can see?

Crossbars aren’t currently available. Been having issues with laser forming the fixture correctly. But will be available at a later date.

Cool no worries. Always good to know that you have excellent quality control :)

So, are we entered to win btf lca when we purchase, or not yet?

unfortunately not yet. Not sure when their lca will be available to the market. These hangers have taken some time to get to market and get asked constantly when they will be available. Would still love to do something with BTF but not sure when we will both align with our products being ready. Those LCA will be a game changer forsure though!

I have the rago shackle hangers i think theyre awsome, but was checking the drt ones out they look good as well. I have the drt relocation kit so thinking of grabbing these as well and sell the rago ones.

QUOTE="drtfabrication, post: 27317827, member: 366527"]Appreciate your support Kevin. But we do not want to give in to the drama. (People love it) Archive makes some great products(I’ve recommended them) I can understand where they are coming from. But shackle hangers are nothing new in the off-road world. I don’t know the whole story of who made them first(edit: for Tacomas) (bamf or archive) and to be completely honest it doesn’t matter. As companies we are here to offer products that you guys (consumers) want to see. The amount of requests we had to produce our own is what made us begin to develop our own. C4 was the first to build a bumper for the new tundra(I think) Does that mean no one else is allowed to produce them? I don’t believe so. Archive has its loyal customers as do we and both attest to the effort we put into our products. Competition is good for the market and forces us as company’s to constantly improve. We will say ours are the nicest, rago will say theirs is, archive will as well. It’s our job to show you what makes ours the best and ultimately give you more options to choose from. If you choose another brand over our hangers that means we need to do something better. As for the cost of our hangers. The cost of all of our products has nothing to do with what other companies charge. We charge what we need to for it to make sense for us and if that dollar amount ends up being more than our competitors so be it. If it ends up being less. That’s great.

Again I truly appreciate your support Kevin and respect the support you have Hugh. But I truly believe there is enough room for both of us to exist in the same space. No need for bad blood. Have a good day dudes.[/QUOTE]

@drtfabrication is there any difference between your shackles and Archives? I noticed the fabbed ones from archive are 3.6” for SOA. Are yours just stock length?

Got mine installed today. FYI - the shackle to leaf bolts were missing, nuts and washers were there. :notsure: Don't do what I did and find out about it when your truck's not drivable

Otherwise everything went well. I didn't measure, but it definitely did lower the rear a noticeable amount.

That’s incredibly odd!! Not sure how it managed to go through unnoticed but I apologize. Shoot me an email or dm over IG with your order # and I’ll give you a partial refund for the troubles.

Also want to mention that the rear is only lowered a 1/4”. Which is minuscule.

There were two extra 9/16 washers though. :D

I appreciate it, I'll shoot you an email. Not a big deal, just would like to cover the extra hardware cost.

Wish I measured as it looks like it might be more than that, but I'm just guessing. I had too much rake anyways, so happy with the results.

why does that happen? I find a 1/4” quite significant visually. I have a small rake and with my dogs in the bed and the crates it comes down 1/4”. If I got the shackle hangers I’d would come 1/2” total.

Because of the geometry changes. It’s different for each leaf spring. On shorter leaf springs especially the shackle angle isn’t 90° to the datum line. This slightly lowers the spring rate because the shackle falling forward causes leaf spring to want to flatten out more due to the shock of wanting to fulcrum and push the spring mounting point back to be at static level and vertical to the lower hanger pivot, in turn lowering the ride height. Hope that makes sense.
