Wow. Killer fit. I ended up giving up after buying multiple of these that never fit right and just removed the rear seats, built a flat panel and carpeted it

Clean setup! What did you use to drill the holes inside the center console and behind it?

I'd say just drive it and enjoy it.. as needs arise mod accordingly. I am not one for spending loot on things unless they serve some sort of purpose. I'll be doing a couple mods here in the near future to add an anytime front camera and adding spotter mirrors. After 3 years I still can't get comfortable parking this thing like I was in my first gen...

If your looking for some functional and budget friendly mods check out my build thread .. it might not be your cup of tea, but much like you I hate throwing money at my truck just because.

Nice bumper and install. Do you notice the added weight in normal driving?

I only installed it yesterday, so I will let you know after a week or 2. I do notice it sits a little more level with the camper shell on the back.

The best thing I did was put a front camera on. I had a 2000 Tacoma for 19 years then bought my current 2019. The amount of times I park on the lines is insane, I still have muscle memory for that 2000. But with the camera at least I'm not running the front bumper through walls or someone's grill.

Just hit 100,000 10 days before my 6 year mark of owning my truck. The weather was really nice this weekend so I spent Sunday detailing it.

    The day I bought it.

so it did bring the front down a bit? I have a TRD lift and was wondering if it would need stiffer springs for a bumper like that.

Same here. I'm still used to that first gen. I could get within inches in the front and know exactly how much room I had. This truck is like I'm totally lost up front. If it wasn't for the rear camera I'd probably be lost out back as well

Be careful mounting anything that can become a projectile in a crash high up. I put my axe and shovel low in the bed so there's zero chance it could come through the rear window in an accident.
