The halogen T is the right choice for a 2019 if you aren’t running OEM LED headlights.

I include a splitter so you can use one T for both grille lights and backlights.

Two halogen T’s and the 2x12”

Splitters are included as needed, I handle that for you.

I run this same setup in my 21 that came with halogens (with the new DD Elites). Works perfect, Dave's stuff is great quality.

There is more than enough length to reach everything with the 1x12" and 1x60" sections with 1 T. That said I am very disappointed with the backlights themselves in the DD housings, wish it was about 500% brighter, you cannot see them at all during the daylight.

My wife got me the SS3's (non back lit even though that's what I wanted) from Amazon. I got all fired up about installing them and did so without seeing that they weren't backlit. So now I'd like to be able to turn the fog lamps on separate from the headlights. Does someone make a harness to do that easily or am I going to have to run wire from the fog lights to a fused power and then onto a different button on the dash? Sorry. I don't know enough about what I'm doing to even feel comfy starting something liek this. Thanks guys

There are several threads for fog light anytime, do pay attention to the forum, though as 2nd Gen may be different from 3rd Gen.

None of the fog light anytime mods matter to me personally, I would enable parking lights with fog lights and I don’t really want or need them on with high beams.

I was just hoping to run them by themselves, without any headlights.

Turn on parking lights and fog lights should work.

They do not. They only come on when the headlights are on.

Interesting. Must be a change with 2nd to 3rd Gen. But my first Gen Tundra does / did fogs w parking light.

So I got the ss3 pro fogs w/backlight from DD and just want to make sure I got the right harnesses. My 2023 Tacoma has the stock LED headlights.

I just ordered the “DD backlight plug and play harness (double fog lights 1 @ 12” and 1 @ 60”) along with a “LED T harness w/grille lights (passenger)”

is this all I need? @daveeasa

That will work. I have to build it, though, so I can't ship today.

I did some for @mynameistory but that was an older year. If it’s the same connectors I can do something similar but it was kinda ridiculously unnecessarily fancy for such a straightforward request. The easy way is an ignition tap or parking light T. I’ve been told they aren’t terribly bright anyway.

sorry I’m don’t know much about this
