Coolant leak help

Not sure where to post this and thanks in advance.

was just changing the oil in my wife’s 2010 Highlander Hybrid and noticed some coolant leak above the oil filter (which is off in the picture). At 125k miles and trying to figure out best course of action. This appears to be the only source of the leak. Coolant was probably half full and I topped it off and will continue to monitor it. Any ideas or advice is much appreciated. TIA

It appears the leak is coming from there?

 

Its the block heater frost plug port. I'm 99% sure it's just sealant, so drain system, clean, re-seal.

The coolant is clearly corrosive so its time for a flush anyway, and this will drain the system right out if done with a rad drain.

How much above a normal coolant flush would you say is reasonable to reseal that from a mechanic? So just the coolant flush and clean/reseal port plug.

 

It would be part of the repair, so just repair + coolant.

I'd expect 1 hour, so ~150 labour,+40$ coolant+ sealant 20$

 

Somewhat related question: 2013 V6 - how does the coolant from the overflow tank get drawn back into the radiator when there is only a top hose running from the radiator neck to the top of the tank? Just did a drain and refill, including the the overflow tank. Filled the radiator and tank with new coolant, ran the engine in my garage, used a radiator funnel to burp air, then drove around for about an hour. Checked the tank, drains, etc. later and found the overflow tank level down about 12 oz. No leak at the tank. No other leaks. Any ideas?

 

The port at the top of the overflow bottle has a "straw" that goes down to the bottom of the bottle, when the engine cools down negative pressure is formed in the radiator which opens the check valve in the radiator cap and pulls coolant back in from the overflow bottle.
