Weekly Photography Challenge Thread (see first post rules and then the poll at top before entering)

I dunno seems intentional. I say if you dont want to put prioity on it dont mark it as entry. Otherwise you are just holding everthing/else up.

 

iPhones can give great shots though! I’ve won 4 times with my iPhone, and no editing other than cropping. So worry not about having “only” an iPhone.

Honestly, especially for those that actually work on Sundays, a 12pm winner post time and 3pm new theme post is cutting it pretty tight. Pushing it to 6pm would make things easier, heck even a Monday 6am kickoff would probably be just fine. I've taken some great photos with a simple phone. Yes, they are a liability, but I'm not in this for money. My slr is a k1000

I’m really not sure what I’ve ended up in the middle of here, but I’m starting to wish I hadn’t “won” and ended up in this position. No, my panties aren’t bunched, and I’m not upset. I only entered for fun as I understood that be the whole point of this thread. Certainly any of my own joking about response times in the past were taken in any way other than a joke, then I apologize for the misunderstanding. I can be a clown at times.

I don’t consider myself a photographer by any stretch, all my photos posted here were taken on my phone and my winning entry from last week was edited on my phone as well.

This. I've been in the same predicament. Often times life does get in the way and I find myself at 1pm on Monday thinking to myself, "oh crap I hope I didn't win." I know if I won when I have 30+ notifications lol. I feel like the people that are on this thread try to be punctual. I believe if we continue to "try" and be punctual we'll eventually achieve some form of it. Nevertheless, the memes are always gold!

 

One time I checked and the winner had not been announced. Then had to drive halfway across town to get a pizza and I was driving back when I got a message telling me to check the thread, haha! The winner had been announced 5 minutes after I had left. It just works out that way sometimes.
