I saw ohlins makes a remote resi rear shock for the grom in addition to the piggyback. Apparently the length fits various applications so they made both versions.

Well, today was one of those days...

I put on all my gear and got on my bike to go to the gym. It baaarely cranked over and reset all my trip meters AGAIN (ugh) but started. I pulled out of the garage and around the first corner the bike felt like it wanted to slide out. Pulled over, turned it off and saw that my tire was flat. Got back on and figured I'd just putter slowly back home and it was completely dead. It wouldn't turn over at all so I had to push it back, which was very tough when the bike weighs 500 lb and has a flat rear tire.

Now to figure out how to get those tiny nails out of the tire...

Thanks. At least wasn’t far from home and when it comes to motorcycles I’d take mechanical problems over the alternative of crashing any day!

I read a review the other week that had this snippet in it:

If you believe the conventional wisdom of our forum moto-trolls, a motorcycle must be full-sized, fast AF, have the range of a WWII Dornier 217 medium bomber and price tag of a 1980 Suzuki GS850 to have any hope of success, much less being a sales leader. Based on that, what model do you think Öhlins suspension, the high-end, race-focused Swedish company, likely sell the most cartridge kits and shocks for? The GSX-R? Ninjas? Ducati Superbikes?

Nope. It’s the lowly Honda Grom 125, according to an off-the-cuff and unverified comment made by Honda’s Colin Miller. And I believed him, because at the remarkably well-attended Barber Small Bore bike show in Leeds, Alabama, it seemed like every Grom there was outfitted with ümlautty, gold-anodized goodness. And why not? At just $850 for the cartridge kit and shock, it’s a little hint into why this pudgy little critter, with its 12-inch wheels and 10 horsepower, Kennedy-era engine, is so popular.

Made me laugh and I totally believe it'd be true. Hell of a deal for Ohlins.

Just put up my video from this weekend, and I'm cracking myself up at the drama of the last minute or so with the drone shots. I am 100% not taking myself seriously with this, for the record. I made my wife come watch it and laugh with me.

I don't use a power washer on my bikes. Lots of soap and water then blow dry it making sure to blow out the switch housings and controls every time.

CF Moto is coming out with this Papio XO-1 to compete with the Grom.

Despite all the changes there's no alteration to the standard Papio's weight, which is the same claimed 251 pounds. Given that the mechanically similar standard Papio has an MSRP of $2,999, the XO-1 version could undercut the strong-selling, $3,499 Honda Grom if CFMoto is aggressive with its pricing.

I really like the look of this. Sadly, it would be of almost no use to me.

I have no knowledge of CF Moto, I wouldn't imagine it has the reliability of Honda........but maybe it will make Honda come out with a cool retro theme like that. I would love to have a mini bike.......my wallet just doesn't agree with me

My issue would be that I know I wouldn't ride it that much. Too small for most of my riding, not even practical for my commute since 5 miles of that is interstate.

I'm only 5 miles from my work off a 2 lane road. I'd wear that thing out

cf moto is cheap chinese junk, not worth the money

that being said I am not anti chinese products, honda has been manufacturing in china now for many years "without too many issues"

The last 2.5 miles of my commute is a nice, twisty road and that would be a ball. I could avoid the interstate but that would add time to my commute and I struggle enough to drag my ass out of bed in the morning as it is.

They were known as New Enough years ago when I first started buying from them. They dealt in pre-owned gear. They quickly expanded and started selling new gear as well. They always had great prices and the customer service was next to none. I liked how they'd tell you the height/weight of the guy in the "modeling pics" so you could get an idea of how a jacket or race suit might fit you.

I go through a round about on my way in.....on one of those little bikes.......would probably make a couple loops

Took these out for a rip yesterday. They fit my ears well and work with my helmet. They're about as big as they could be and allow me to get my helmet back off without perf'ing an eardrum.

Had one fall out while test fitting and had to use the emergency collar release to get my helmet off
