No, I got the wheels and tires separately.

I ordered the tires through America's Tire.

Nice. I had a set of Trd beadlocks about 2 years ago and sold them with brand new tires for 1,300. Long are those days haha

 

Are the tire shops you're taking them to, removing the ring, mounting the tires, putting the ring back on, then balancing or are they leaving the ring on when swapping out tires?

 

I have had two different local tire shops not remove the rings when swapping tires.
Take your center caps out yourself so you don't have any problems with the shop employees trying to pry them out. They punch out from the backside.

 

You don't need to remove the ring when mounting the tire on the wheel.

 

Good point on the center caps. Particularly with how hard the are to replace.

Thanks. I only ask because the instructions from Toyota say that the tires should be mounted first, then rings put on, and then balanced

 

Same with the Rock Warrior wheel and my tire shop didn't want those rings removed.

 

Here are mine; guess we dont see too many gray ones out there. Found these set on here a few months back. Luckily the person was also in So Cal. Thought about taking the rings off but Im thoroughly enjoying the way it looks so i'll keep 'em on. Had them ceramic coated as well. Very happy, probably gonna keep them a long time

I thought I read somewhere that the hub boor was different..mines a 2016.

 

You may be confusing the TRD 4Runner TRD wheels which have a narrower center bore than the Tacoma.

 

Do you know the part number on the blacks?
