That’s the car that I learned to drive stick in. Before that it was Mom’s mercury which was an automatic.

I remember the “Carter car starter” system, where if you stalled the car you just mash the clutch down, and push the throttle all the way to the floor & it would restart.

It had that highbeam style switch on the clutch pedal, and another switch on the carburetor linkage.

I always avoided yogurt. People thought it was sooo wonderful. I was convinced they were nuts.

With all that $$$ advertizing to convince Americans to buy the foul stuff, it just had to be bad for you.

And once they stuffed it with various preservatives, gums and sugars, it was.

Meanwhile there’s a Mickey’s just 1/2 mile from me, and they sell a ton of it.

It opened about 2006 and I have never been inside.

Frozen yogurt really isn’t true yogurt unless it’s labeled as such. True yogurt is actually really good for you, and I don’t mean the yoplait and all that flavored stuff, I mean the stuff that thick enough to stand a spoon up in. I’ve got gut problems, eat a cup of vanilla Icelandic yogurt every morning and I’m good, I skip a day or two and I get cramps and have the shits. If you’re on antibiotics for extended periods or on a strong antibiotic you will need a probiotic to get your body back to normal.

Oh I understand the benefits but it’s like taking cough syrup, you know.

Actually, cough syrup isn’t that bad nowadays. I’m talking about the awful stuff they had 60 years ago.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
My first real car was 3 on the tree!

Thinking of this the first time I drove an automatic what do I do but go for second gear I did no permanent damage putting the transmission in park.

I heard about that till everyone was dead!

This car was my grandmas car, she used to take my mom to school in it, she took me to school in it, and I took my wife out on our second date in it. After I graduated from the fire academy it was gifted to me.
