Just leave valuables in a storage you'll never visit again

 

I have my moments, but I am known to have less mechanical sympathy than some. When we tune my buddy's 300zx, he always makes me drive or operate the pedal on the dyno. He doesn't have it in him to do the full pull. I'm listening and feeling for anything wrong if I have to let out but small stuff, nah we are sending.

 

At a certain point where does the monthly cost of rental crossover with the value of rebuying or living without the items. Storage makes no sense for me

 

i would probably just forget entirely and lose them after not paying the bill lol

Oh that's already crossed my mind, but it's such a small payment I don't even think about it.

Plus I haven't bought the safe's for the house or designated a spot for all the firearms that are in the storage.

 

Eh hoarding is just wrong.

There's value in the stuff locked up.

 

I wonder what happens to firearms that are left in storage units if the owners payments lapse. You should do one of those pop out of the ground gun safes, well if your house is on concrete at least.

Something like that would be awesome but really I should just sell most of them off.

As for firearms, I'm sure they'd have to turn them in (legally) cause the storage owners wouldn't be able to take legal possession so they'll end up at a police station.

 

I'm still trying to find a more elegant solution for my little LCP, thinking a magnet may be in the future

 

I want a wall piece that folds/slides open.

Maybe an American flag wood decor for the garage?

I have a really nice wall safe that’s designed to stud mount and go behind a picture frame or something. I’ll never use it because I’ll likely never own a house. Listed it on marketplace for $100 and people were offering me $20. I’d rather scrap it.

 

When my place was robbed the dickheads went through everything except the kitchen cabinets. Even my underwear drawer was gone through, mattress turned over etc.

So my vote is back of the cereal cabinet or in the attic if not in a safe thats bolted to the floor.

Oh those spots for sure, it's mainly why all my shit is out of town.

Then again I'm more concerned with access to a firearm from a child versus someone break-in.

I've got 2 neighbors that are at the ready as we're pretty quick to text or call each other over anything.

My neighbor called me when he said he saw the concrete guy jumping my fence; I had left it closed and he wanted to level the concrete to match the concrete at the door when you walk out the side of the garage. That and my Ring had gone off too.
