Do I really need upper control arms?” is a question we come across often. People will say, “But I am only lifting my vehicle a couple inches, how will I benefit from upgrading the upper control arms?” TOTAL CHAOS UCA'S are designed to function best in the 2″-3″ of lift zone and were designed make your vehicle easier to align. These hand-crafted arms are fully rebuildable and replacement parts are always in stock.

    None…yet
What’s the required backspacing for these? I’m wondering if they’ll work with the stock TRD OR wheels for the time being 16x7 +25 with a 255/85/16

    with a 16" wheel we recommend 16" x 8" | 4.5" backspace Tire: 285/75R16

your current setup with that width the tire may scuff the UCA. Would recommend getting that wheel a bit further out so you don't have any contact.

Just got mine installed yesterday with Bilstein 6112. . Got a good deal and couldn't pass up. The shop was able to dial my alignment pretty good too.

Are you running the stock OEM wheel with that set-up? What size tires are you on?

I take it those are the Race Relations wheels? If so, that's a nice looking wheel for the Tacoma! I have their RRW rock sliders on my DCLB . Good solid quality sliders for the price I paid for them. I am also thinking of the very same wheel/tire/suspension configuration as I have been happy with theRRW sliders, and their customer service. I am on 265/75-16 SL Falkens with the stock 16" wheel currently, and love the tire brand on my TRD Off Road.

Future plans are for upgrading to the 6112's and 5160's with a planned complete leaf spring swap out upgrade, hopefully Deavers with their bump stops and brake line extensions. I have a Leer cap and a full Sherpa racks both over the cab and over the cap, and I will have to figure out what leaf spring weight rating I am going to need for the total weight with camping gear and other "stuff" (storage boxes, refrigerator, solar lithium battery, solar panel, camping gear, etc. etc., etc.) I will need when my wife and I take our long overland trips.

    Thanks.

    Cheers!
