I second Community Coffee, not so easy to find in East Tennessee, but readily available in East Texas...

We got a few cans of Kicking Horse Coffee (free trade) from our local alternate grocery, and it was wonderful. Cafe Bustelo is good in the expresso machine, but lately we have been buying big bags of DD original blend at Sam's at a fantastic price.

We gave up our drip machine a while back, perculator in the mornings, expresso maker in the evenings and french press when the power goes out.

Usually drink the free stuff at work. It's Folgers, and not half bad. I've had a couple of cups of Community Coffee recently, and I like it. Probably too cheap to buy it myself, though, especially w/ the free stuff at work.

I've never paid for coffee at a place like Starbucks. That shit is way too expensive.

I agree...like it's a foreign country and they have to translate it to their own language! Also hate being made to feel like a 2nd class citizen for wanting a cup of brewed coffee instead of some fru-fru blah blah sawed cow...yada yada yada.

    Haven't vented that for a while....THANKS!;)
