Picked her up 7 years ago.. way back in Feb of 16 and it has been a great reliable daily driver. Does have the slight oil leak that some 16's are known for, but I am at 195,400 and close to the 'ole 200k club (commute of 85mi RT per day).Kept it stock, and have done most of the "appearance" mods and blacked it out as much as I wanted. Been towing our smaller 20' RV for camping and kayaking last couple of years and trust it will give us a few more years of Taco enjoyment.. Obligatory pics of first day to now.

Looks great. My Tacoma is 2 months older than yours. Did you have a handful on TSBs to address in the first year of ownership?

Not really, did have corporate pay to fix the leaky 3rd brake light a few years ago. Now it’s a true recall and they say I need it done again..geez

In my first year, I had a few TSBs to address. Trip meter random reset, weeping reared, transmission software update, CPS sensor. After those were addressed, like you I am very happy with my truck.

Awesome. Good stuff! A couple of takeaways. The 3rd gen boo hooer's don't like these stories. Also, first model year issues and concerns seem to be at a minimum for you. The front timing chain weep is better left alone in some cases.

Give me Toyota or give me death -

Are you considering getting into another one? - I'd buy a new 2023 before I'd buy a GEN 4 model - all this yapping about a 4 Cyl Turbo engine gives me the willys.

    Congrats!

I've got a few weeks for my 7 year ownership (March 3rd)

I did hit 1 year of ownership on the Tundra over the weekend (Feb 5th)

Happy truck birthday! My 2017 is coming close but I've only got 58k on it, hopefully it hangs in for 200k like yours.
