Did you upgrade the rear suspension? My 100XR is coming in a few weeks. I bought an Archive Garage AAL but not sure if I should install them now or after the topper is on.

    First time poster!

Last week, my dealer said my Lunar Rock Off-Road (MT) was built, just waiting for shipping now. Can't wait to join the cult. Will post pics of course.

Just put a cover on Rocky this weekend so his bed doesn’t get cold and wet.

Thanks! It’s coming along. I just need to pull the trigger on some new tires for the set of black 1552 analogs I have waiting in storage.

Those are some of my favorite wheels! I ran kmc Roswell on my 2019 and loved the look.

Lol, not a big fan of predator steps, I am planning on sliders sometime down the line though. Still have the 1st gen as a toy for now

Neither am I, which is why I got the tube steps. To be honest, I’m new to this world and didn’t know the difference in steps (body) vs sliders (frame) and how important that is if you are into off-roading. At least I’ll know to swap them out if I ever get into that.

My brother bought a used 2nd gen that came with them, we took them off the day he got it. Same day we sold them on marketplace for a few hundred. There's a market for them for sure.

Just got my TRD 4Runner wheels installed with Falken Wildpeaks AT3 265/70/17 at @Discount Tire
They swapped my sensors and I was in/out in less than an hour.

Thanks. I don't know if it's the tires, but it drives better.

    23' TRD OR Lunar Rock
    Hello All,
Just bought my 23' TRD off-road in Lunar rock, had to drive from West Palm Beach to Detroit to get it as no dealers seem to have any Tacomas and ones
that do in Florida trying to play that $5000 market adjustment scam.

I had a Tesla model Y from February 2022 and traded it in on this Tacoma and had a 2012 F250 crewbab super duty diesel for 7 years 2014-2022 that had
a 6" lift with 37" tires, EGR and DPF delete, with Mini Maxi delete tuner

My plans for this are a 3" lift suspension system including UCA and OME leaf springs with 17" rims on 33" tires most likely 11-11.5 wide and replacing front bumper
with a high clearance steel bumper with winch capacity.
Im going with heavy duty OME leafs as I wan to ability to tow or have a camper shell during winter not into overland camping as traditional camping is good enough for me

So far I added the KD Max tune at 1376 miles and I removed the door edge guards.
I plan on removing the TRD 4X4 graphics on the rear bed and the V6 emblem on the gate and adding the pro series heritage grille, I was going to remove the tacoma
name badge on the doors but I don't mind it blacked out so keeps for now.

About 2 hours into ownership on my way back to Florida in Toledo, Ohio at famous Tony Packo's restaurant, if you ever watched the Tv show MASH the character Klinger
was from Toledo and always talked about Tony Packo's great hotdogs. I would snow off and on from 7pm till 1am when I threw in the towel and got a hotel room
in Beaver Falls, PA on my way towards the Philadelphia region
    IMG_2284.HEIC.jpg

I decided to visit Family and friends outside Philly on my way back down to Florida and took my dad to get a cheesesteak, h e is 84 years old and only has had cheesesteaks from Pat's
(in the background) I turned to the dark side (Geno's Steaks) a few years ago from prompting of my brother to try.
    IMG_2342.HEIC.jpg

Philadelphia to Florida via I-95 is mostly uneventful, you can venture off 95 and see DC capitol highlights, or Baltimore if you are a noob but I've done this drive over
20 times in my adult years so yeah its a bit boring now.

So I read about beaches you could drive on and since I was staying the night in Raleigh, NC on my way south making Cape Hatteras very much out of the way I decided on
the drive on beaches of St. Augustine, FL
    IMG_2384.HEIC.jpg

I do professional photography on the side of my main job and stayed in Cocoa Beach overnight to shoot the SpaceX launch so here is where I parked setting up for the launch

Your pictures look awesome. When I was stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC, we made that drive to Ohio for Thanksgiving. You brought back some memories.

BTW...I took my rear decals off. Since you live in a warm climate (I'm in AZ). Just park your truck in the direct sun and slowly peel away. For the sticky residue, I used Goo Gone Automotive Goo and Sticker Remover from Autozone. Then clay bar, and a coat of wax.

    @82nd_Devil,
Thanks for the shout out! I'm glad the Discount Tire store was able to take care of you. The Wildpeaks are very rugged looking and I love the color of the truck.

Anyone else struggling with what wheels to pair with LR? I dont care for bronze, black seems washed out with black tires, machined seems to flashy, lost. I keep going back to TE37X's in black diamond but that gonna cost, lol.
