and you couldn't let me know how the 130 links are...

Don't blame you on getting good deals, I like the 115, wish the ARC was a bit more stealthy..

130 links are still in the plans currently. They’ve just been pushed further out. Wasn’t planning to blow the coin needed for the Yeti’s, but I’m hoping to be able to make a couple bucks on them.

FYI the 130 links may be on the site for ordering, but I’m not so sure they actually have them yet. A fellow arrival owner I know that ordered them when they announced still hasn’t even gotten shipping information yet.

Send me a message if you’re truly interested in either. I snagged them with resale in mind. Can’t say I won’t be taking the SB115 out for at least one test ride though.

The seller was wanting to get things gone. Being local for the first time ever certainly had its advantages.

I've had a ton of flat pedals, Spanks, Deitys, Oneup Aluminums.

They all felt pretty similar grip wise, I wanted to like the OneUp the most but one you tighten them down into the cranks it would press on the seal and bind the pedal slightly. Never got anywhere with warranty issues on those and many people complained of the same thing.

What are some other top tier flat pedals? This is for a trail bike, so looking to go as light as possible but still with a metal body.

I have only tried the one up Alloy
Stamp seven and the Canfield crampons… In a back to back to back test around the neighborhood I actually think the crampons have the best grip. I love the stamp sevens as well. I like the one ups, but I think I like the others marginally better… The crampons are insanely thin.

I’ve got a set of brand new crank bros flat pedals in a box in the back of my truck I’d let go of. Not sure what model.

We can chat, but honestly I think the SB115 Large will be too small for you. Check out the geo charts. At 5’ 7” I’m normally on mediums. The geo for the Large SB115 is right where I like my numbers, maybe even a tad smaller than other mediums I’ve owned.

Be careful with riding that SB115. Inheriting the SB100 is how I ended up buying the BC40. A light 120mm 29'r just makes too much sense and now it's splitting time with my Calling and Insurgent.

@aturk Looks like I have a set of new in the box Crank Bros Stamp 7s, size Large (black with purplish/pink pins). Let me know if you’re interested.

There were also some CB clipless pedals as well if anyone is in need. I’m guessing Mallets and Eggbeaters. Not sure which model.

I too value weight on a trail bike, and I think pedals are an easy way to save 1/4 lb.

    As light as possible with a metal body is quite pricy - HT ME03Ts - 218g - $285 https://www.ht-components.com/product/productDetail/31

As light as possible with a budget? I run Xpedo Spry pedals when I use flats - 260g - $65 https://www.worldwidecyclery.com/products/xpedo-spry-bmx-mtb-pedal-silver (Podcast15 gets you $15 off)

The Xpedo's have a bunch of different colors available. Not as much grip as the HTs. The pins are only on the perimeter of the pedal and they are kind of flat/wide tops. I have put set screws in their place before to try out more shoe-piercing grip, but I actually like moving my feet a little bit when I want. The stock pins provide plenty of grip for me.

The Xpedo Spry's are 42 grams heavier but over $200 cheaper. Just as durable. Just as thin.

Those HT's have a 176 lb rider weight limit also. Although I guess if you're really fully invested in being an avid weight weenie, you'd likely be under that anyways? Seems like a low weight limit to me though.

I still choose terrible lines I guess, my pedals all look well loved (as to the ends of my crank arms). Right now, I'm really liking the PNW composite pedals. I went from clipless to flats for the winter and I'm honestly considering sticking with flats. I look at how many falls are made so much worse from being clipped in, including some of my own unfortunate incidents. Starting to think the benefits don't outweigh the risks. I'll keep the clipless setup on the road and gravel rides, but likely sticking with flats on the mountain bike.

I have some Deity's, as well as DMR Vaults. I like the DMR Vaults more than them, but really wish the OneUp's didnt have the stupid seal/crank interference issue that they won't acknowledge.

Got some stamps coming. I'll test them all and decide what I really want.

I'm not necessarily a weight weinie, at least in traditional sense. I'm 225lbs, so I could lose 30-40lbs and be further ahead, but as I approach a new bike build I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything from my radar. I'm also 7 weeks post 2nd Achilles reconstruction, so I don't even know how much riding my ankle will handle.
