With a hard top canopy and tailgate locked they can still steal the tailgate?

 

I’m sure it’s much harder but I know if they really want to get something they can with the right tools and time. All of that is just deterrent to hopefully keep them from even trying or if they do try, takes long enough that they get caught.

 

Yes. A flathead screw driver plunged into the lock keyhole and forced-turned to shear the tumblers.

 

I’m hoping my truck nuts act as a deterrent.

 

they just added the description that says they have a 'shop'. 100% stolen but unless you can prove its yours, you're SOL.

Well yeah, it would be stupid for you to steal a white (or any other color) tailgate for your Lunar Rock truck...

I know it’s cheap but this kind of just feeds the cycle of the cesspool.

Thanks to everyone providing insight and helping me find and look for my tailgate. I went ahead and got the tailgate in the ad mentioned above. It turned out to be Cement, but thankfully it’s close enough that it’s not an eye sore. This will do for now while I keep looking but just couldn’t pass up the offer to have a tailgate. Will be installing the deterrents ASAP.

I've got the oem tail gate lock and a bakflip x4s, but I think I'm going to order one of these....
