    Nope. The oil change was a separate line item and with tax was $127.

    The charged cost for the oil and filter look like it's at cost ($5.95/qt for synthetic and $12.95 for a filter)

    Yep JCW Cooper works… and the damn brakes wear out every 8-10k miles for most … mine lasted just about 30k

    Hmmm...The $127 sounds right for oil and filter (thats what I pay for that service standalone. But when you ask for the 60k service, you expect it to be included in the overall quote. So your dealer may be nickel and diming you a bit. For what's it's worth, my local Lexus Dealer wanted $800 for 60k service on a GS350. This included plugs, oil filter/change, but my Mechanic did it for under $500. That car was no longer under warranty.

    I would consider getting a second opinion.

    knew it as soon as you said $5k.

    though costs like this are how i owned a bmw 330ci a teenage kid was in the shop got quote for stuff to do spark plugs in the parts dept, they said like $800 in parts. he said, he was just going to sell it for the cost, offered him 2k and he took it
