    The list is growing.
Didn’t a tire rotation already happen?!
That kinda wipes out that idea BUT if they lost wheel weight in the process that might be it as well.

I'll just throw it out there, the flat spot idea makes sense, you would probably feel it a bit. Another idea is it could have broken a belt in the tire

I hadn't though of a belt, but it's possible. There is a scuff mark on the tire which I assume is where the original wheel got hit. The wheel didn't crack, but it had a couple of gouges which resulted in it being replaced. Maybe the tire should have been replaced as well.

I'll have to swing by the body shop and discuss it. The office manager is a retired insurance appraiser and might have some good ideas about that. It's more the annoyance factor from the noise, but I don't know what the longer term possibility of the tire blowing out on the highway is.

    Thanks for the idea.

you know, the new england thread is becoming my favorite thread and there is a clear reason why. More personable and people actually read what youre saying, not getting a summary of your post then blabbing on about stuff that has nothing to do with it.

Every time i post in the general population all hell breaks loose

And I was just there last night too.

I'd echo the thoughts about maybe swap the spare tire in and see what happens. Being that you had a small sign of impact on that tire would worry me. Inbox me if you want, as I'm not too far.

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
There is a great group of people here and I'd say most of them will try to help in any way possible.
You've got to watch out for some of the Ford guys. From time to time they like to stir the pot. jk

    You and I both!
