I tried to start my truck, no prior issues besides key fod battery(I changed it). The truck starts but does not turn over and clicks. After that every light and warning comes on. My truck is now stuck on. Every time I pushed the ignition it clicks and warnings flash. The vehicle thinks I’m trying to turn it over.

Welcome to the forum. Disconnect the battery and have it tested. Funny electrical issues come from dying batteries.

Maybe battery is bad and the low voltage is causing the warning flashes. modern vehicles can be very finicky to low voltages.

That fast clicking sound is a sign your battery is dead. I swapped mine for an ever start 24f agm from Walmart. I think it was about $150-$170 and comes with 4 years free replacement warranty. Also using an off grid engineering battery strap, but the oem battery strap will still work in the meantime.

    1) Your terminology is a bit confusing. Typically when someone says their engine starts they mean it turns over and starts running like normal.

    2) it’s normal for a bunch of dash lights to be on if the ignition is on but the engine is not running.

    3) a clicking sound upon engaging the starter typically means you have a dead battery

    4) a dead battery doesn’t necessarily mean the battery requires replacement. It could just need a recharge. But it’s evidence that the battery needs replacement

CAVEAT: I’ve never had a push to start automobile.

This is the second post I’ve seen about this issue this week. Does your truck lock and unlock?

Did you take your foot off of the brake when trying to turn off the truck with the push start button?
