Weller, since you’ll have many more chances at BT

and I’m sure there’s plenty of us here that would send you BT or Weller if you asked

Seems unanimous, I’m going with the Weller today.

I appreciate it! Might have to at some point to try some different stuff. Now that I know my local store has a lottery for the allocated stuff, it might be more “available”. I’ve been in that store several times asking about BT and nobody ever mentioned you had to enter a lottery until this past Friday. At least now I know lol.

Three Rye's that I think knock it outta the park. I prefer my rye's a little more on the sweet side. Rye&Sons, only $22, Hudson a little pricier around $65, and Basil Hayden dark rye $45. I talked to my local whiskey store manager yesterday, he said that Hudson is a little harder to get from the usual suppliers, and that he can't keep Basil Hayden dark rye on the shelf. Anyone out there got a sweeter rye that they prefer?

If you like a sweeter rye, you’d like Michter’s.

never a full bottle if youre making an infinity bottle. plus, it's always a new flavor profile which is fun. well for me and the friends who on occasion have a bit

That was the better choice in my opinion, purely from the standpoint of which is harder to acquire. Might as well take your opportunity when you have it.

From a taste standpoint Weller’s gonna have a sweeter flavor but it’s a little less robust than BT. BT is aged longer, but Weller has the wheated mash bill. They’re both good bourbons. Enjoy!

Been absent for a while. Actually sold my Tacoma at the end of the summer. But you all know I still love bourbon!

1st pic my score from 2 days ago. 2nd pic my score from todays drive home, and 3rd pic, tonight’s libation, store pick that was actually a Christmas present from my BIL. Haven’t really been shopping much but picking up right where I left off is a good thing.

Yes. They’re exceptionally good bottles. I’m actually pretty excited about that 14yr Widow Jane, the 10yr Pappy can’t be too much different than the Antique 107 I’ve had…. But I’m still glad to own it.

what’s funny is I’m following up my Blantons with a glass of Old Tub, mmmmm.

I saw several bottles of the 14yr WJ around here over the past couple months, but all $400+ so I passed lol. And yea, Pappy 10 is fine, I’d rather just have Eagle Rare

Yikes…. Sadly I paid $250. For it, which is MSRP, but still quite high. I certainly have more than a few bottles of Eagle Rare around. That’s been my “house bourbon” for more than 15years…. Boy times have changed…..

Another WJ that I’ll have to add to my list. I picked up the 10yr a few weeks, man it’s a good one! I have yet to see any other WJ bottles though, would like to get WJ Decadence, and this one you show above perhaps as a special bottle.

I’ve yet to purchase over $100 on a bottle…..a few are close. And this WJ is so good???maybe that if I ever see it.

Haven't found Buffalo Trace in Idaho for 2 months. Stopped in a liquor store while driving through Nevada and found 16 bottles so, I bought 16 bottles.
