Good morning PA. Strong winds coming on the west side of the state. By the way, I forget who was warning us about the chemical release from the train derailment in in East Palestine but they were showing video this morning on the local news of a bunch of dead fish in a creek near the derailment.

That was me. They are trying to just push this entire thing under the rug so they don't get into serious trouble from the federal government and sued by all of the citizens affected by this. Watched the news conference yesterday, they don't have a clue what they are doing and don't give a shit about the American citizens that are going to have serious health issues from it. They told people "within the 1 miles radius of the crash," they'll "send contracted people out to test the air quality in your homes but you have to contact them to sign up for someone to come out. No, every single house, business, school, etc... should be tested before sending people back. Those places sat closed up with the toxic chemical gases and smoke filling the buildings, houses and now its magically safe for them to just go back to normal life like nothing happened. They said this toxic chemical didn't get into the ground water but they "leaked it from the tankers into pools/ditches in the ground beside the tankers" were those ditches sealed, hell no. Most of the people within a 20 mile radius use wells and well water which is ground water. Not to mention everything that is covered in that toxic smoke/gas within atleast 4-5 miles minimum. When the national guard decontaminates everything they're using as soon as they leave the "affected area" don't you think that everything in that area is covered in the same shit. I'm old enough to remember 3 mile Island as well as countless other events in the U.S. where they tried saying, "all is good, go back home, nothing to worry about". I grew up next to the Umatilla Chemical Depot in northestern Oregon and southeastern Washington states, miles of bunkers that looked like sand dunes in the high desert. They always told us that no leaks were ever recorded or happened but thousands of people around that region now have all types of cancers and other health issues. This Depot was surround by nothing but farms on all sides and the Columbia River on the northern edge. I'm so tired of every time bad shit like this happens it's just swept aside and they tell us that it's all good, everything was taken care of. Meanwhile the citizens are the ones that get screwed over with serious generational health issues.

    Rant over.

Remember Harry Kalas? Longtime announcer for Phillies games. This is his son. We saw him at a Reading Phillies game a few years ago; he did the National Anthem and it was awesome.

Nice! I'll be home if the opportunity presents itself, say hi. I know it may not be easy to park your truck around here.
