Most of my questions are specific to my van and no one here can answer like, what ball joints/tie rod ends should I buy? I have zero idea where to start with that stuff.

Too late haha. I did end up with a semi useful art degree, I specialized in television production with a video engineering and media production background. I’d be working a lot with analog and digital signal flow in terms of broadcast distribution.

Uuuuhhhhhhhh idk. I know Quigley used some weird parts, I think the brakes are GM but the axle is a D60 for a Ford. But then idk if it's a king pin axle or what beyond that. I think I will take it to a diesel shop and see what they can come up with. I want em to do a full inspection anyways to make sure all is well.

Well considering it's a SAS the only limit is how much I can cut  different SAS allows for bigger tires.

Only seen random pics of your van; bitchin! Looks badass.

Fortunately the truck I'm getting is a 2wd so it'll be perfect for my metal runs, home depot trips, and towing a trailer when needed.

Hoping the OTC front end kit I have is large enough for truck parts; worked perfect for the 4R and Ryans Tacoma.

If you want free.99 advice post pics of the axle and knuckles and I'll tell you you're fucked :luvya:

That said Moog greaseable ball joints are fine for the D60 application. Motorcraft is most durable for stock applications but sealed and I know you take your shit out and about so it's nice to have peace of mind to be able to pump fresh grease through after snow bashing or water crossings

Basically the reason I keep the green truck around, it's good to just have an old truck when you need it.

The van is the bees knees. Looking forward to taking it to the desert in a couple months. It's pretty capable but no where as good as the green truck in the dirt but the trade off is worth it.

Yeah the steering getting a bit sloppy so I want to just replace it all and go. May throw red and tacky in the zerks short term. Man I hate greasing them. I'll take a picture later for you to tell me how fucked I am.

Oh for sure, same. Land Cruiser ain't going anywhere.

I guess with time I'll have to decide if the truck becomes the daily so I can start fucking with the LC and make it a dedicated trail rig.

Wife has her own car but she's been on and off about getting a new one as well. We did just widen our driveway
