A replacment connector is no good if wires i need to connect them to are inside the Diff attached to the coil lol and regardless of that toyota diagnosed a bad coil so what is a new connector going to do if my coil is bad? I take it a lot of guys here dont work on their own trucks

Whether I knew what the underside of my truck looked like or not, I would know what was done to my truck. I wouldn't start a thread claiming I had an 'Auto LSD' installed and then when questioned about it, get mad because I didn't know the answers.

You wrecked your coil, you had it changed to most likely an open diff, you clearly don't know because you, the expert, didn't do the work, a Toyota dealer did. ( They typically only do factory parts replacement because aftermarket is a liability ) The dealer then sold you on the Auto LSD... a traction control setting that every 3rd gen Tacoma has, that is NOT an LSD or a locking differential. Now you want us on this forum to solve your issue of a fault light because clearly the dealer cannot. Then when questioned you get mad. Am I understanding this?

You also keep saying Northern Canada... so Newfoundland or B.C.?

Once again…. Not reading the full thread and making up youre own logic to help your ego. Toyota diagnosed a bad coil, that’s ALL. I removed the diff and tried to fix it before bringing it there . Then replaced the axle MYSELF afterwards. Find someone else to troll

If you replaced the axle yourself, then what did you put in? An 8.0" or a 8.75"? If you put in an 8.0" and and LSD unit then I am done... the information does not apply to me, if you put in an 8.75" and an LSD then I am truly interested in what brand and where you got it from. I am not trolling, I am asking a legitimate question because I have legitimate interest. If you feel the question a troll then I will forget this thread and move on...

The point of this forum is knowledge and expanding it. Part of that knowledge is parts and availability of parts to modify the truck to our liking. You are here to get knowledge to that regard. I am asking you for information that may or may not expand my knowledge. That is not trolling.

And as stated earlier by myself and others... Auto LSD is not informative.

Wow, this thread went off the rails.

OP, I think you need to work on your communication skills.

That's because no sane person is going to replace their entire housing for an issue like this. We still don't even know which rear housing you put in, not sure why you're not providing as much information as possible if you want help.

While I appreciate that you're trying to fix this yourself, you need to work smart, not hard.

Felt like i was being trolled because my question was already answered and the answer to the question i asked could be applied to my situation or even if someone wanted to go from E locker to Air. The rear axle i put in has nothing to do with the question I asked otherwise i would not have an answer already. I know i prefer air locker and want to upgrade eventually hence why i dont give a crap about the elocking axle i pulled out.

Im not sure how i have to work on my commnication skills if others were able to answer my question on the 1-2 pages of this thread
    Mods please close this Post
    Thanks

Swap out the 4WD ECU with one from a truck without a locker. You already swapped the whole axle housing.
