    Chev, the same basic cab was used from 1935-47 when the "Advance-Design" trucks were introduced. Under the hood lurked a solitary engine, the legendary Chev "Stovebolt" 6 cylinder. 216.5 Cubic inches/3.5 Liter, 78HP, 170 Lb-Ft Torque.

    This one is a 38 as it was the first year with the passenger fuel filler location and the last year for the cab belt line stamping with the distinctive arrow in front of the door.

    1939 & up models looked very similar with different cab belt line stamping and a 2 piece windshield.

    1959 Peugeot 403 Cabriolet, a rare car even when the show was produced with only 2030 made over a 5 year run. Peter Falk picked the car himself out of a selection of cars on the Universal back lot.
