Tacom and an Infiniti QX56. Hoping to add another toyota or 2 to the mix once daycare is over. Depending on value of the infiniti at that point either trade in or keep it as a beater, throw on 35s, and some homemade skid plates and sliders. Value of it since buying has definitely taken a dip with the used car value drop

Ford and a Ford here. Going to take quite a bit for me to go back to Toyota, at least on the truck side. When my wife's Ford needs to be replaced, I'd consider Toyota depending on what they have out at the time. Obviously, my opinion is not going to be popular on a Toyota forum, but there's an ass for every seat and I've had better luck with my Ferds (I've owned 6 since I've been driving, plus the 2 my wife had/has). I really liked the Tacoma, but I had a lot of modifications done to it to make it work for me and some issues that I don't think I should have had to deal with. Currently, if I were to buy a new truck today, I need a full size and I'm just not a fan of the current Tundra platform. All that said, I would consider rocking a 4 cylinder 2wd, manual Taco as a commuter though!

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
Really wishing they made a regular cab 2wd again. I'd like one as a commuter

Taco and mazda cx9. The Mazda is dead to me now. Started leaking oil this week and has been a headache. Just paid it off but it's time for something newer and smaller for her. Car shopping for the wife now.

    I'd be in for that

The appealing thing about the Tundra for me is the existence of the double cab in a higher trim level. Ford dropped that for 2023 and Ram and GM did for 21 or 22. I know I've said it before, but I really wish they had an AWD type mode on the transfer case like Ford's torque on demand in my F-150. They did it in some Sequoias and 4Runners. I can't quite bring myself to part with that feature.

We've had really good luck with the girlfriend's CX-5. She's got about 100k on it and it's been solid.

Don't get me wrong I have enjoyed the time with the car. It has suited our needs and is pretty quick and fun to drive. But it's now at 140k and used and abused by her and the kids.

She parks by Braille and aims for potholes:rofl:

If my next driving child was closer to driving I would keep it for him..

Goofing around with scrap and figuring out how to fit some vintage hardware by trying with some reproductions first.

The carving was all done freehand with a couple secondhand carving knives, a razorblade, and sandpaper. I'd like to think the crudeness is a charming aesthetic. If I had some scrap brass of the right thickness I would have liked to do a gold tooth, but alas.

I threw in the towel on the tire and ordered the Michelins from Costco. My local guy couldn't touch the price and at best I'd get a partial amount for one tire to put towards a set of Coopers. I'm reluctant to go down that road again.

Live and learn. It's disappointing because they seemed like a great tire until they weren't.

To find a Z32 worth buying will be a challenge as the values have exploded for the spec I'd want. While I'm potentially dumb enough to take a loan out on a Subaru, I'm not dumb enough to take a loan out on a Z32 after selling my C5 to do the downpayment.

At the beginning of the pandemic I could find 2008-ish STi hatches for 10-12k with a few bumps and bruises, so I don't know what I want to do. Most every GD WRX has rotted rear quarters so they're out. I'd love an 11-14 widebody WRX hatch but they're just out of my projected range right now. Do I really stretch and get a 15+ sedan with a more favorable financing, or do I get a narrowbody hatch and love it anyways, who knows.

I just want a car I can drive year round that's fun. I miss my Subaru. I know nothing will compare to a Hawkeye STi, but see what the future holds. I don't even want to do anything wild with it, I'm not even sure I want to do an exhaust. Maybe just a set of 2004 STi BBS wheels and a matched set of slightly shorter springs to pull the wheel gap and some Kartboy shift bushings to make it fun to drive. I dunno, see what I can afford this summer. Maybe it's an early-onset mid-life crisis.

It's a non-Turbo Leagcy, if it's the one with white wheels. All noise, nothing else. It doesn't even sound good. You can be loud and sound good, he didn't get the memo.

I think I'm likely past my truly loud cars days.

Nah not that one. It's been around 2 years or a tad longer. Recently added a large decal in the bottom center of windshield.

Production isn't ending, not for a while so eventually you can. I'm hoping they produce for 4 more years at least.

im mostly a michelin snob. Expensive, but i always feel like im getting my money's worth. I run michelin defenders on the tacoma, even plowed with them, great mileage, great in rain and snow. I say mostly because my winters for plowing are firestone winterforce.
We just switched to michelin cross climates on my wifes crosstrek, all seasons with 3 peak mountain symbol. The crosstrek is another subject, i love driving that car. Fun, capable, powerful for its size.
