I just ordered and installed a BakFlip MX4 cover. I like how it sits flush with the bed rails and folds all the way open when you need it to. Installation was easy and while I haven't tested it to see how water tight it is, it doesn't appear that much water has made it's way in the bed since I installed it.

I have a Lomax tri-fold and I really like it. Very flat and secure.

I have the Lomax as well and no complaints here. Since I live in AZ I was not worried about having a tight water seal. I have taken my truck through the car wash and washed it at home with minimal water in the bed. Reach out to Luke at truckalter he has great prices and my cover was delivered in 3 days.

Another happy Lomax customer here. I purchased through @GotExhaust who offered competitive prices and fast service.

With the Lomax, the bed cleat rails do not get messed with and remain fully usable. The installation was a pretty easy, one person job.

Combining the Lomax cover with the OEM tailgate lock allows me to transport my skies, golf clubs, fishing gear, etc. without worry.

Bakflip G2 here. Got it within a couple of weeks of taking delivery of my truck back in May of 2021. Working well so far, like how it sits flush with the sides of the bed.

I have a Diamondback and have been happy with it. I choose the smooth without the cleats.

I've been debating this change myself and would be curious as to how difficult you thought the changeover was. I'm not mechanically inclined and am a bit nervous about dealing with the drains and the fact that the bedrail was relocated down. The shop I bought the Bakflip from installed it and they don't sell Diamondback so I'd have to tackle it myself.

It was super easy, I live in NY though and have salt so corrosion will make it more challenging. I am mechanically inclined though but have the right tools, take your time and I think anyone could do it

I did Diamondback HD and it's top notch, can carry 1500 pounds easily (side-by-side quads, for example).

Just got rid of oem hard cover and went with Bakflip MX4. No more leaks, and full use of bed now.

Lomax from @GotExhaust too. Had it since September 2020. No issues with it at all. It's a great cover at a fair price.
Other popular options seem to be backflip mx4 and the Diamond back which is really like the top of the line deal, expensive but heavy duty.

I wanted the MX4 for a couple of years, but I ended up going w/ the Undercover Armor Flex since it has a Line-X coating on it. I wanted something more scratch resistant.

Pretty sure I'm going to go with the BF MX4. I had considered the Rough Country as well. Where is everyone getting the best prices on the MX4??
