new, none yet, going to lift it, and get wheels and tires, small dent in tailgate
Anyone else lose their roof rubber strip in a car wash? (2014 Taco)My drivers side is gone, guess Im off to the junkyard. I let my adult child use it, and she had good intentions and washed it....

Do all tacomas have a metal "clank" sound when putting into reverse after going forward or putting into gear, the nearby dealership service dept says its normal. Thought I had a u joint problem, 2014 with 41,000 miles

Are you on a hill when you go from park to reverse or forward? If it’s under load you can get a clunk when you shift.
You can check your u joints, look at a couple YouTube clips and climb under your truck.

I lost one of my weather strips on the highway...bought a set off roof racks because I couldnt find a weather strip...as far as the clank, mine doesnt make a sound at 120K. I would guess U Joints, have them grease the hell outta them and see what happens!

U joint probably will also feel like you have vibration when you’re accelerating, then nothing when you let off the gas.

I lost mine last fall at a car wash, well after car wash. Heard something kicked up on the freeway and wasn't until I parked I realized what happened. I just ordered a new one from a dealer, but I looked up the part number myself. I went to one dealer and they tried to order me the wrong one. I have a regular cab and don't recall which part number it was, but I can dig up the number if you need it. The reg cab version was like $50 and that was the only option I could find.

Toyota calls it a drip molding, if that helps.
