huh I'm glad to see some old timers still out there! Left is a wall hanger but I picked up the Right in Galveston on a business trip. I rode it around a lot on Amelia Island and the Baldwin Bike trail. Me and this rascal are still looking for a good place in Western Washington....(?)

 

My buddy gave me this for free when he was moving out of his place. I'll take the risers off and use it for mall crawling

lovin the bottle opener on the lone star deck.......

 

scored this sector 9 longboard for $26 and promptly rebuilt whole thing and regripped it.....new skiddles wheels, abec 11 bearings, nose bone guard, riptide bushings and pivot cups. deck and gullwing mission 1 trucks only original parts. cruises oh so nice....





also built up this aaron murray dogtown deck because dogtown were my boards of choice back in the pioneer days of the last century. not skating pools, parks, ramps and such anymore so this one went on the wall for display purposes in my office.....oj III wheels, tailbone, abec 9 bearings, core trucks and fresh tape.....

 

prolly what sold me on it but it got me back into riding again. I don't know about y'all but it hurts the same but longer when I take a spill in my "middle age". So I won't be trying the bottle opener in the field! Ironic how difficult it is to find Lone Star IN bottles actually....

 

i do not have body parts to donate to skating since over 60 so this kind of mellow cruising surf spot is why i got the longboard......and to push it down the street back and forth to fetch mail, lol. got a fairdale add-on thing that velcros to rack to carry the board on my bike/sk8 biathalons.....this is a great empty clean fun free spot i happened onto.

coming together.....waiting on griptape to show...also 1/4" and 1/8" risers, 1/2" almost seems like too much. 3/8 or 1/4 or 1/8 will be possible with other 2 prs. Took a little ride up and down street to chk it out all bare deck style and seems like it's gonna be real fun. Got a few riptide bushing/pivot bits to upgrade oems with as well......

 

GoPro used to have something like that right on the packaging. Circa hero3 that I used on mine!

 

Sold out in 10min. Bummed to miss out on these.

 

dunno, still makin the hero do the dirty work......have every mount then some for it. the sk8truk wasn't one of them....the helmet strap mount i played around with wasn't staying put.

 

Still waiting on some more bushings and 2nd set of pivot cups but tape came. I think I like it.....


Rides nice already but new bushings will make it even better. Will be full riptide 90/95 setup on each end.
