The stamp 11's are nice, but again they have a rider weight limit. And they aren't that light for the cost.

My brother (200lbs, aggressive rider) broke a Spank Spoon axle and it could have been deadly.

 

Been on a ton of different flats (Oneup, Deity, PNW, Raceface, Chromag, DMR, probably others..). Currently running the Tenet Occult, which are now definitely my fave. The shape and feel is excellent. They make two models, one slightly lighter. If I could do it again, I'd get the Omen (lighter and made in N America) in that killer Deep Purple color.

Need some think tank feedback.

I need to order about 10 helmets for a rental fleet. Preferably all the same model.

The bikes will a mix of cross bikes, road, and MTB. I’m leaning towards a hybrid helmet that’s ok for mixed use. I have a good relationship with my local Trek shop so I’ll likely be pursuing something from Bontrager.

Any suggestions of Bontrager models, or another that fits my described needs?

I don't know a ton about the rest of the Bontrager line but I have a Circuit and a Velocis. Both really nice helmets and don't look like a spaceship. I use the Velocis 99% of the time and use it for road and mountain.

The Circuit is probably more fleet-friendly.

Seth makes a point about KIS not just for being steering control, it helps with bike control. But canyon didn't realllly market it that way. so EVERYONE was like, "what? steering straightener? what? huh? who needs this? bieks already do this!". But his point is that it's intriguing and helps move the bike around in ways you didn't expect. I'm interested from that standpoint. not a bike straightener though.

 

Smith was/is my suggestion if we don’t go through the local Trek shop.

Favorite part of the system is that you can hang a bike from an overhead hook without a ladder!

 

Regardless of whether it works or not, if it is proprietary to Canyon and you need ANY parts, your bike will be down for quite a while. They cannot supply proprietary parts in a timely manner, ask me how I know. What I mean by timely is, less than 1 year.

Same here. My first impression when I heard about it was, “meh, stupid gimmick.” Now that I look at it from Seth’s viewpoint and trials, it kinda makes sense.

Positive side would be this is not a critical functionality part to the bike. You should still be able to continune riding your bike sans assist while waiting for replacements should a component of the system fail.

Would be interested to try it. Could see it being helpful on bikes that are extra slack, like enduros pushing sub 63deg HTA.

 

Well, I’ve tried two different Velcro straps. Same issue. I think it’s my small wrists.

  Totally upfront and honest I live in western Colorado and we have a lot of rocks so the paint isn’t perfect but structurally its sound and I can attest to the whole history of the bike and it’s minimal use- didn’t know about ride wrap then :/
  
  Myself and a good handful of buddies have these 2020 Fezzari‘s and we think it was just something with the paint from that manufacture year because all of them seemed like the paint was a little more fragile. Worst spot is some heel rub .
  
  but for a bike that is built very nice and hasn’t seen a ton of use because of the whole work/school/dad thing- if perfect paint doesn’t bother you its very well specd for the money
