I dont know if I got a different set to. Mine look like those but all black and allot more adjustment range it seems .

I ended up just cutting the 2x3 and putting that on. Figured it would be more stout than the welding of the flat strap.

would benefit you too yeah? dont you have ditch brackets on the hood? I could never get a good angle on the passenger side due to the Airflow in the way.

Yeah I do. And sports down in the bumper. All I would have to do is weld on some light brackets I have left over from the ADD days. But I have pretty good angles on those and happy with them. I need to add more light out the back. But will add those to the GFC. So will need some brackets machined for those.

I finally just finished up installing my bumper on my 2015 and I ran into the same issue with that annoying little trim piece under the head light. I don't have the metal fab skills posted above but I did end up successfully designing and 3D printing a similar component. I can post pictures later, but if anyone is holding back on 2014 or 2015 years or is having this issue I can either send along the CAD files or print brackets for you.

My trim pieces fit, but when the frame flexes it pops them out, so I just run without.

Me too. I probably cut them 10 times before I just stacked welds to fill the gaps.

I like how you rounded the edges of the bumper. I went the other direction and did really defined edges.. probably will grind it down the next time I repaint it.

Where am I supposed to mount the heater exchanger? I wasn't sure from the instructions. 2018 sr5 installing the extreme clearance front bumper.

Pretty sure this heat exchanger is supposed to be on top of the new cross member. What is this a heat exchanger for? Trying to know what fluids will come out if I undo the connections to move it.

2nd gens that line runs to the radiator and is for transmission fluid.. kinda funny with what's going on there. Maybe delete the line and run a cooler and relocate to another area?

Transmission cooler. You'll lose transmission fluid if you unhook it. So prepare for that.
