Beautiful Lab! I had one that loved going for rides in the truck, he hated the car. Sorry that I don't have any advice for you as that knucklehead never got car sick.

    Happy Friday everyone!

All of the retirement talk yesterday was sobering, I'm so far away from where I need to be VS where I am in terms of being ready for that event, I just don't see it happening.

Can't do that for a 3 day trip. I was looking at something like that.

Good luck on the interview.... family and friends discount??

Last trip I gave her 6 small pieces of kibble and she ate a few grass strands and it all came back up. Booger also drools the whole way. In less than 2 1/2 hours she soaked a thick heavy towel.

Wouldn't like the whining, but preferable to the barfing - I can turn the radio up....

Sorry, hope things change for the better for you.

    Morning all

I was having a discussion about dishwashers with the lady friend recently, she can't understand why I don't use it. I don't use a lot of pots/pans when cooking, so everything gets hand washed.

If I had waited until I “needed to be” I would never retire.. I never thought I would live this long.
    Retire, GTFO, GO AWAY….
I had like 30%. IT DIDN’T stop me.

They are talking about sending me for training on a very large product.

    5 weeks in New York.

I'm thinking, 5 weeks vacation in New York and then retire

    Good plan!
No offense to anyone else, but the reality is we should all live towards increasing our quality of life regardless of retiring. To be honest, I could retire anytime I want, but I want to have a purpose...a reason to wake up as others have said. I also want to be able to fund whatever I want, so perceptions of where the sweet spot is differs to everyone since cost of living and family and everything else matters/factors. Strive to be happy and have a purpose no matter how small because retirement is only in the mind as a former boss who retired and came back after 1 year said (he fished and golfed everyday and got so bored). So, I'm just gonna buy land and build a big ole animal shelter! Purpose, reward, needed! lol

Is the door locking mechanism engaging? There's a safety switch that won't let the unit start until the lock is fully engaged.

Better hope he didn't order it from Lowe's....... We ordered a fridge, stove, and dish washer from Lowe's the week before Thanksgiving last year. Fridge was delivered in 3 days. Stove took almost 2 weeks. Dishwasher took 5+ weeks, they had to try ordering three different models as each one we ordered, they called us a couple weeks later to say "Yeah, we can't actually get that model. Wanna order a different one?" So, now we have a Frigidaire fridge in black stainless steel, a Samsung stove in regular stainless steel, and a Midera (some oddball Chinese brand) in regular stainless steel. Not exactly the three piece matched set my wife was looking for o_O

Does your dishwasher have an auto lock mechanism for the door ( locks automatically when door is closed ) ?? Or does it have manual locking door ??

Does the control panel illuminate when you press start ???

My house has all new Frigidaire stainless steel appliances . My dishwasher has a very weird start pushbutton , you have to press the button just right or it won't turn on
