Had the opportunity to grab a few more photos of the F-16 testing here in SC this morning! (and the IAI Kfir too)

Looks like a Bahraini Block-60 bird...which is ironic because the Block-60 engineering and conformal fuel tanks were an Israeli idea.

Yep, this is the first one built as of now, Block 70. Look forward to seeing more of these roll out in the coming years!

70?!? Schmancy. When I retired the Block 60 birds were “the future.”

Probably has the larger countermeasures canisters and enhanced RWR. I mean, why dogfight when you can drop ‘em from 40 miles out?

    Yeah.
Pretty sure they bought THE last 747. They've only been selling them as freighters for a while, I think (I spent 8 years at Boeing, but have been gone for a bit).

Yes, this a crazy incident and the stuff of nightmares. Below is an animation that claims real-time audio. Use a grain of salt with all you hear until the final NTSB report.

Atlas bought THE last 747, but they've also bought most of the last dozen or so 747-8s as I recall.

Yep, they even had John Travolta here to give a speech at the delivery ceremony. I peaked out to see the zoo of people before I left for the day, dog and pony shows aren't really my thing. There were enough people to fill half of one of the big assembly buildings here in the Everett factory, all in the space that they used to do all of the spar drilling and wing structures assembly.

I was working in a certain cyber role when they rolled out and we loved working with them. Those UC12s are a fantastic platform for what they do.

Yeah they're crazy cool to the see the first time. They have antennas sprouting out of everywhere. We parked next to a similar looking one in Palm Springs a couple of years ago.

Had a sim instructor that flew one as a contractor in Africa. They have added fuel tanks and routinely flew 10 hour missions!!

"Did they also upgrade the seats (and lav)? Nope. Hahaha, then I want no part of this."

Whiny little bitches. They can get up, walk around, take a piss, etc. The rest of us poor army pilots just get to sit in a small helicopter cockpit sim actual uncomfortable seats and not be able to move for our ten hour missions.
