No, it was a 4. You're thinking of the Honda CBX. The KZ1000 was top dog for several years...everybody wanted one.

All this talk of speed, fast cars and motorcycles.
    Never had a fast car.
Never had a motorcycle. Did have a 4wheeler and raced it in AMA District 16 flat track. I did it with a group of guys from the Sheboygan, Plymouth and Elkhart Lake area. Amazing how much money was spent. Tires, rims, engine performance mods, accessories and traveling.

I had a 93 Mustang notch back I used to drag race. Nothing too crazy but it did knock off 11.6 sec at 117mph in the 1/4 mile. I was a poor military guy then and didn't have the funds to put more into it :(

Good times back then. Used to have to donate plasma just to have gas money and entrance fee for the track!

Haven't been hiding, just busy latley with work, side jobs, and getting the truck ready for Moab.

I think today I'm going to be pulling the spindles off the truck to install the gussets and maybe start beating on pinch welds tomorrow. Another busy weekend in the garage!

Did you end up staying under the transfer case or going behind for the exhaust crossover?

I've had the front end pull apart too many times, becoming a pro lol. 40 minutes and it's all apart....

One pinch welds beat flat. Lots of room for beating activities with the spindles out.

Just trimmed the fender liner a little until I get the tires mounted. Then I'll see where everything rubs.

I'll post pics when I'm done. I'll be welding them tonight or tomorrow morning. Need the wife's car to go to the shop to weld. Downfall of having your daily as a toy also.
