How can I tell if my rear shocks are blown? Are 5160's rebuildable?

What would cause them or one to fail and potentially not the other?

I think my driver side one is shot...

I will get pics when I'm off work.

Do you see any oil on the shock body or leaking down the shaft?

I had my 5160 on my 3rd gen Tacoma leak where the hose fitting couples, it was wet. And 5160s are not rebuildable but are covered under warranty (assuming they’re new) I had to drive to the place I bought them from they had me buy a new one and then went home swapped them out and returned the busted one for a refund

they’re psuedo common to leak where the hose fitting is

I read they are rebuildable but are 175 a price.
