Glove Box Latch Does't Catch

    Seat belt beeper, Cabelas (Weathertech) floor liner gray, Covercraft Seat Savers in Taupe, Protecta Heavy Duty Rubber Truck Bed Mat, Pop n Lock PL5200, Pace Edwards Full Metal JackRabbit, Wolverine oil pan heater, Scangauge2, afe pro dry s filter, Remote Underbody 4 Piece LED Light Kit (White) used as Bed light, DIY Washable Cabin Air Filter, PA15-TOY, 4x4 Illuminated Switch, full synthetic, Redline Tuning Hood Support, Smittybilt Nerf Steps black powder-coated
    I did the cabin filter and the glove box latch doesn't catch when I put it back together - any suggestions, pictures, links and or replies appreciated - 2008 Tacoma 2.7 - glove box not keyed. Thanks.

    I did the same yesterday. I had to reinstall the glovebox and tweak it a little to get it lined up right. The piston that allows the door to open and close slowly is no longer in use on mine so that helps.

    It’s very sensitive after I undid mine I had to fiddle with it it was the darndest thing since it seemed lined up but wouldn’t latch but it will I have the 2.7 no key glove box as well
