Was going around a corner today,in the rain, too quick. Had an empty bed. Back end shot loose, abs goes crazy, and truck spins 180 degrees. After spin, both check engine and abs light are on. Cannot accelerate or move. After restarting, truck runs fine, no lights, no visible or felt steering or brake issues. Is it still possible I damaged something? Please help.

Thanks. I was just worried that I may have damaged something I don't know about yet. Would hate to have it fail later.

I'll try to forget about it, now I can refocus on getting that blower motor fixed Tuesday, tick. Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick......

So, did the engine stall, and hence the CE and ABS lights came on, or was the engine still running, but you cound not move the truck? Is your truck auto or manual? It is obvious that you might have stalled the truck in a manual if you had tramped and held the brakes. And of course, had it stalled it would not move. Little more info please.

Truck would not move. Would not steer. Brake pedal also was stuck down. Both abs and check engine lights were on. I turned off truck. Waited a few minutes while I placed my preliminary call to AAA. Then tried it again, started right up. No lights. Brakes fine. Steering fine. Weird huh? I'm assuming the abs system just got extremely confused? Btw its a Prerunner, V6, auto. 2006

doing a 180 will confuse the shit out of any newer vehicle..hence the PIT maneuver. you're fine, no need to worry

I concur with the above sentiments...that is your truck suffered no damage. You would have heard or felt something by now, certainly, if something had gotten shook out of whack.
