    Good morning crew. I called a local stealership to get some pricing on the upper mounts and hardware for the new Billies for the 4runner.. it would be close to $500 just for 2 upper mounts and 4 washers and 2 rubber bumpers. I will just use the aftermarket parts on this one. I'm off for a B-day hike today, take advantage of some nice-ish weather.

    took chebby to the car wash because he's a filthy pig. $5 with the pressure washer and i think i just ended up redistributing the dirt around. that dark paint is hard to keep clean.

    Once in while I have to mention the silly things that my four year old son says, he's very observant and very analytical. He loves steam trains, a while back I posted a video when we went on a steam train tour in Durango CO. Anyways, this morning we were playing with his Polar Express train and he says "why does the Polar Express have a cow catcher on the front ?, there's no cows in the north pole". I know it's intended to remove anything from the tracks but I just find it funny how his little mind works.

    I didn't get to do the hike that I wanted but at least I still went out and got a few miles under the boots. I'm now more then halfway through my 50's...:facepalm:
