    Nice amp!

The good thing about low output amps is you don't have to wake the neighbors up to get to the sweet spot. I almost always use my Fender Super Sonic and it's 22 watts max hooked up to a 10". My other larger amps just take a back seat most of the time.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Here are a couple recent purchases :)

Also picked up a dark night tele. The burst is crazy cool. Changes in light dramatically.

I have been busy as hell and haven’t played it much. But it’s my first tele I have owned, and I am liking it…effortless to play.

A close buddy of mine picked it up and gave it about 20mins. He was impressed, and said immediately…this guitar makes me a better player ;)

I said it’s that you’re enjoying it, which makes the experience better.

That's sick. Way sick. I got soft spot of semi hollow guitars myself. The lighter weight of them is a bonus. Now you got me thinking of a new build.

^That was gonna be my response. Easily one of the most underrated bands in rock history! The whole Nightlife album is dope if you're looking to break away from "The boys..."

For real. That Bigsby kinda trem looks sweet too. I think Josh Homme plays a Duesenberg.

I normally don't like gold, but the way they do it changed my mind.

Honestly, there is no substitute for in-person private lessons. No sense in trying to line up schedules with your sister who justifiably has other priorities, despite her good intentions. Dig around to find your most reputable local shop and see if they have some recommendations for instructors. Even a one or two lessons a month will help you make more progress in a year than you ever will trying to learn on YouTube. You get what you pay for, and with guitar you really don't know what you don't know for the first few years of this lifelong adventure.

As for your guitar, that's nothin to scoff at. To me, the most important thing when starting is having a guitar that is easy to play. Your instructor can help you judge this, again "ya don't know what ya don't know." IME most new guitars need a "setup" (adjustment of the instrument to optimize it's playability), especially acoustics. Your same quality local shop can point you in the direction of a good tech to complete this task, it should run about $50 for an acoustic since there isn't as much to adjust.

Good luck, have fun, and please ask many questions to us here! I'm also over on TDPRI, which is a great guitar forum. They have sub forums for tips and technique, backing tracks for jamming, all sorts of stuff. Plus many many kind and knowledgeable people.

Teles are simply the best, Leo really got it right the first time! I'm currently in a bar band and play everything from pedal-steel style country to pop punk with my tele.

Such a stark difference compared to pricing today. Especially second hand, which is about the only way you can find them unless lucky and quick enough to get some when they drop.

Finishing up this pickguard. IMG_20230211_113208.jpg I still need to route the inside by the neck pickup. It actually looks good as is. But damn, pearloid looks good on this.

Dude, nice collection of Charvels! I only have one, but it's killer one:

Yep, Danhage Signature. One of the most comfortable necks I've ever played, it's rolled at the edges of the fretboard more than any other Charvel I've played.
