This was on a sedan, but I never felt that I had good wet weather traction with Michelins. Worse on even light snow or ice.

I’d need a 10-year note to fit my budget. Anything much more than $200 a month seems stupid given my current budget.

But a GR would be a blast, certainly.

The Jeep had Michelins from the factory and I wasn’t really impressed. I replaced them at 35,000 as one got a nail too close to the edge of the tire and they were getting lower than the mileage would suggest.

These tires seem to be the new hotness so hopefully it’s better. I had Pilot Super Sports on my STi that were a blast to drive.

like anything else, your love or hate of a particular brand comes down a lot of times to one experience, one model. My last samsung tv died in 3 years just out of warranty. Although they are loved by many, i am now soured and bought a LG.

My michelin defenders on a Tacoma, in my eyes, are hard to beat as an all around mall crawler tire.

I've been a Michelin fan boy for a while now. I had them on my F150 and have been running them ever since. I've been rocking the Michelin AT2. They seem to wear well, do well enough in the snow and have good road manners. They're technically an A/T tire but they're a very mild all terrain.

I wish they would offer a turbo option. It would be a great ride.

Lot of Michelin chatter so may as well add my mine...
I've got the Defender LTX on the truck and have been extremely pleased, though I do have Blizzaks on a 2nd set of wheels in the winter. CrossClimate2 on Mrs. SpruceMica's Odyssey, great tire. I've got Pilot Sport 4S on my 911, to me the perfect tire...and I've driven other cars with the OEM fitment Pirelli and the Eagle F1 that came as OEM on my car when I got it.

I'm trying to buy a house up here and I'm gagging on the title search fees. More than 6x the national average. I can't wait to find out what the next mandatory middleman takes as a cut.

I thought I posted a picture of my Tacoma right after the accident, but don't see it in this thread so here it is.

    upload_2023-2-10_16-20-49.jpg

Here it is fixed. Again, I thought I posted this, but apparently not.

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
The only thing that should have CVT's are snowmobiles or ATV's. Cars are too heavy and shouldn't have them.
