Digging the bummer, have been low key looking around for a stealth more OEM looking bumper how are you liking yours?

 

excellent! I also did not want to tap into the existing 12v and this option is much better.

I was originally trying to replicate TG option, but all the adapters have power switches and you have to manually turn it on every time. The TG option is always on, but doesn’t specify if the adapter has an in line fuse. At $32 I feel like I’m really paying for the little bracket that I really don’t need.

do you recall which fuse you tapped into?

I also considered getting that same product. I tapped into the AM1 because it was empty and only on with the truck on.

How do you use it?

 

Today, I finally got around to modifying the spare tire location to accommodate the over sized tires I installed. It was a lot of work (for me) but this website helps me immensely with projects like that.

 

Can you share some more pics? I also just had Leer XR installed on my Lunar. I think the color match is just ok. Curious what yours looks like from some different angles. Thanks!

 

What size tires?

 

I'd say it's about 98-99% match. Leer paints them in-house so I'd assume they use the same paint across the board. I'm satisfied with it.

Yeah it does. Toyota got that color right. I think it looks really good with black accessories or trims. There is a Rav4 at work that’s lunar rock and has a lot of black mixed in and it’s amazing!

 

Yours looks to match WAY better than mine....Maybe it's lighting?? In this picture my topper actually looks "more lunar" than my truck

Yea it's strange. Its sort of bothering me but I guess I'll get over it. Maybe in the summer it will look better. Or maybe after a 12 pack.

 

You can always have a few different people look at it and if they think its off too, you can take it back to your local dealer and get their opinion. I've heard leer has good customer service and might pay to have it repainted.

 

I was just gonna say the same thing. Flares & cap are nearly a perfect match.

 

I may contact dealer. I need some more in person opinions. My wife seems to think it's ok but can we really trust her opinion?? She did marry me after all....I guess if it really bothers me, I could get it wrapped in black. Worst case I mean. I'll probably just calm down a bit and live with it like a big boy though.
