This is fantastic! I'm sitting a bit over 3,100 miles right now, and I'm thinking in the next few weeks I'll be doing the 5k severe schedule stuff. This is a perfect guide, and I LOVE that you made it into a chart with links. So much easier for those of use that like visual lists! Subscriber 601 for your channel, too.

Thanks to both of you. I still owe us videos for front and rear brakes, they just aren’t ready for a change yet. Same for brake fluid. I did just complete a 5100 lift which will be a video soon. Anytime anything non-routine breaks, you guessed it, video.

I'm curious for your channel. Us higher mileage guy's, I'm gonna be changing out my upper idlers , idler tensioner, and lower idler . That would be a great video.

Very cool videos. My only question is transmission filter change on the third gen? The videos only show fluid change. What's the required interval to change?

Last time I dropped the pan I inspected mine and realized it was a semi-permanent mesh and not a fiber that gets replaced. I made sure it was clean and put it back in. To be sure I called around to try and order the part at a couple parts stores and both told me they were permanent. I say semi-permanent because you could get some funk built up or lodged inside of it or even possible damage it while looking it over. However… I have heard of fiber versions on 3rd gens… Here is the part just in case:

Nice updates. Toyota should license these from you.
