Nope, but no other vehicles rated to go 314 miles on a tank are going to be able to do that when racing or towing either.

I can gas up a Tacoma in a few minutes and continue on down the road. Rivin MIGHT get 250 miles at 80.

 

Yep, fuel up is a lot faster. There are definite compromises but having way more power and a far more capable truck is a trade off that’s been worth it so far.

 

Makes sense. Sounds like you're in a rural area. Changes are coming.

 

I suppose it’s all about what capabilities you are looking for and what compromises you are willing to deal with.

No issues with power here. There are issues if I decide to drive to AZ in the summer. The popularity of electric vehicles is over running the current infrastructure for most states. As a lot of these states, adopt electric vehicles, as the standard, forcing buyers to leave gasoline powered vehicles, the lacking United States electrical infrastructure is going to be much worse.

The electrical infrastructure simply isn’t keeping up with what demand and requirements are going to be. Legislators that are requiring. These changes aren’t smart enough to figure this out.

 

So why are you worried about brown outs if there's no power issues?
