    I drove sticks for years until I went automatic. For a while, I was stomping a clutch that wasn't there with my hand on the gear shift. Fortunately, when my foot hit bottom, I remembered it was an auto :)

    Yes, with a "test" pattern so that you could take the back off your TV and adjust the picture size, position, and focus. Watch out for those capacitors though!

    When TV picture was bad my brother would remove tubes from back. We Walk to Utotem convenience store they had a machine to test tubes and sold them there.

    Just asked the older siblings, they recall it as a 1967 Chevrolet Malibu Station Wagon. All I remember is driving around 1/2 the country in the middle of the back seat because I was the youngest. Pretty sure there was no seat belt, or didn’t use one if there was.

    Most times it was possible to find a cooler spot outside with a little exploring.

    Those super hot days a Creek was always an option.

    My favorite spot was up on the deck by the rear window .

    The sudden stops were the High Point of the Drive.

    Causing much laughing in my case .
