Question, can I buy and install the Crawl System from a TRD Pro or OR on my TRD Sport? Is also 4x4.

It can probably be done, but would be cheaper to trade and get an OR or Pro.

You would be better off getting a rear locker instead and a lot cheaper.

It’l would be cheaper and easier to trade it in. Even IF you could pull it off, the risk of botching such a job versus us the rewards isn’t good.

Welcome to TW, Amaury! Probably should’ve just bought an OR or Pro.

I’d also evaluate IF you really need this system. Do you know anyone closely that’s had great success and uses it often with it in your area of terrain?
I have it, it works, but damn sure wouldn’t hack up a truck or trade it in for it.

Not really, but I'm from Florida and there is sand everywhere. I need to check on that. Thanks

Upsize and better sand tread tires + traction boards should be fine. Maybe add a shovel to the bed tools.

    Yes.

But it's going to cost ya a butt load. There is a lot of "chingas" that need to be installed
Don't think it's just like a chip or anything that simple

    Trade or not

Thats one hell of a question

The first thing to consider is the brake system. On a Sport it is a vacuum boosted system. The Pro and Off-Road use a hydraulic boost system. Then there is the electronic side of the system. This would be a huge change of parts.

It may be possible, you would definitely need a donor vehicle.

Trade it in for an Off Road. You know, what you should've bought in the first place!!!!

I already have a Hybrid bumper (not installed), and waiting on a winch. I'm deployed now, buy just looking for alternatives. But, I'll do mods as I go. Hopefully everything goes as planned.

I'm just asking for advice. And a simple question. Are you going to send me payments for at least 6 months for a TRD OR!? Just asking.

I’ve had my Tacoma since 2016. Hundreds of off road miles. Maybe I don’t know how to use it but I did once. Laughed at what happened, and I’ve never used it since.

Crawl works when used correctly, but others have been driving on sand for years with just airing down and basic 4wd.

A French cousin of mine drove through the Sahara with a bunch of friends using basic 2wd Peugeot sedans and VW buses, they used airing down, boards, shovels and rope to get through. She said the VW vans did really well in the sand also.
