Seems like this question comes up every few months on the LR thread so I’ll pull from an earlier post I’ve made; A while back some threw on some gunmetal color wheels which looked extremely sharp IMO:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/lunar-rock-gen-iii-thread.685645/page-68#post-26361344

To me it solves that “washed out” look that matte black struggles with but still subtle and clean. Hope this helps!

Looks great. The gun metal wheels and black tires sort of match the cement and black interior mix on the cloth seats.

Gold seems to pair well with LR, but I don't care for it. I like the SCS Blaze 10 in gloss gunmetal or a blue wheel like the KMC GRS in midnight blue, but they're sold out everywhere.

Has anyone put any polished wheels on a Lunar Rock truck yet?

I'm thinking about it but not sure how it would look.

I know polished wheels aren't really de rigueur anymore but I think they usually look cool on other coloured trucks.

Gee, thanks. Now, I'm second guessing my decision to go with black wheels.

@Discount Tire, unrelated to the topic but the last time I tried ordering tires online through your website, I wasn’t able to check out since they weren’t the factory size. Is there an easy way to get around that?

Can’t go wrong with black wheels! There’s reason why the pros come with them, because it will always look good

Nice! Any rubbing with that setup? Sort of considering the same for my DCLB!

No. I’ve done some u-turns, sharp turns, bumps, and nothing.

parked in 76F sun for 2 hours, still brought a hairdryer to help get the adhesive hot, used goo-gone adhesive remover followed by light soapy water. took nothing more than 10 minutes, also removed the "V6"emblem on the bottom right corner of the tailgate.

    clean man, clean....

Just got my Trail on Jan 24th, after waiting a little over a month of it being stuck at the port. Got it just in time to undergo ankle surgery and not be able to drive it for like 2-3 months.
