I don't get like 99% of organized sports.
I was one of the skate rats hanging out under the bleachers during Friday night high school games Could give a shit about what was going on beyond our little world under there haha.
And as an adult I never understood grown human beings wearing the jerseys of other people. Its weird.

 

I work in professional sports broadcasting and I could literally care less about the game. My unit manager was even saying “in eleven years I’ve probably only sat down and watched 4 games”

 

Lol is crack odorless? Then it beats cigarettes and vapes. Such a bummer that it can ruin a buy.

Id wear funny jerseys if they were cheap like Oj Simpson, Rodman, Wilt Chamberlain, shit like that.

me too, I was too focused on sticky green herbals and girls to give 2 fucks about sports lol.

 

Some school friends were like that. I knew people who shot games (not just one sport) for 4 years and could give a shit about any of them. It was more of a tech challenge and experience than it was about being into the sport/result.

 

Crack smoke, has an extremely distinct smell, nothing else smells like it and I could pick it out very easily. No residue though, but the smell of it is like chemical smell.

my third brake light gasket was non existent so corrected that, basically all of em. So fingers crossed its fixed.

 

Same, working when I was younger in bars, people would ask me what my team is and I'd tell them I only hope they both lose.

 

If both teams worked together, they’d score so many more points!

 

That’s exactly how it is for me. In television, the money is in sports. It’s how you make a living.

My college professor won an Emmy… for shooting a college football game. I didn’t even think that was possible.

I’m mostly behind the scenes. They’re training me to be a V1 engineer, I’d be controlling the camera focus, iris, colors, etc. on top of understanding the analog/digital signal flow used in IP television transmission. I’ve done some camera work too, the camera work is the most fun.

For football, I’ve done work holding those parabolic mics. It’s fun avoiding being hit by the running backs lol

 

That's very cool. It's pretty dynamic work too, which is nice.
(Even get yourself on some NatGeo shoots and really have some fun.)

 

I was working with someone who did a NatGeo shoot and she was telling me how they’d have to tape their ears over at night so bugs wouldn’t fly into them.
