thanks man! Was a bit of a pain getting turned out of there in 2wd…lol. Should be out for the tacos at chocolate thunder tomorrow night.

 

I'm impressed you got it to the top of that hill in 2wd. I'll be there for tacos for sure!

 

yeah luckily i can still run it in 2lo. but had to come up the sand off the backside and come around that way since there where so many people stopped in the middle.

The main part was up and good when we left at midnight

 

yeah two years ago they had a pallet fire that light the whole valley up...damn thing must of been like 40 feet high of pallets before they started the fire.

I'm looking to go to koh next year, would you guys say it's better to go there when the events starts or closer to when it ends?

 

just depends on what you want to see. Desert racing was on the 4th-5th and than rock stuff was later this last week/weekend.

 

They greatly expanded their desert classes this year. Hoping it all stays and even grows more next year.

 

Like more of the rock stuff. And im assuming the chocolate thunder crawling happen every night?

 

Chocolate Thunder is pretty much every night. It gets more epic the closer to the last race. We went a couple nights, but from what I could see and hear from our camp, Friday was off the hook.

Hopefully they fix Backdoor. It was dead because pretty much no one can do it right now.

 

Backdoor is so dug out, Matt's heavy wrecker tires were completely swallowed in the trench (52 inch Mickeys)
