I’ve never been but does it follow the blue line or the green line?

I'm not sure what it would take to go the green line. went there once this year to see when a bunch of people where there and the only one to make it up out of like 5 that tried was a full hydro rear steer rock buggie.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
The trail goes pretty much straight from there, maybe slightly passenger.

But not only is it dug out, the ledge is back cut, so you can get any traction with the back tires, to go up.

100%, the reason they didn't have backdoor in the race this year, is none of the 4400 cars would have even been able to do it.

Matt didn't make it with rear steer and 52s.

Snapped his front driveline and backed out the back door.

yeah sometimes it just takes getting lucky on that left line. but yeah i've seen someone break every year in there. and the 4400 cars just winch it so its really boring, so Dave said screw it lets skip it this year.

A few years ago some of the 4400 guys could make it up with no winch.

yeah and alot...or at least a few probably could still, at least the good rock crawler guys but its not worth breaking something they could easily winch past. but yeah the bottom has gotten super dug out and just keeps getting worse every year.

We went out to back door 2 times. The only guy that made it up, broke his trans where he only had reverse. He had to back back down and then Matt had to winch him out of the pit with the heavy wrecker. (the guy was in a full tube buggy with 4 wheel steer on at least 42s)

Last night, we could see from our camp there were a bunch of people over there, but they were all along the bypass.

It's a dead obstical if no one goes out there and fills it with the rip rap cobble that leads up to it, and then sets a couple big assed boulders in there.

This year's trip was EPIC! Had a ton of fun, and hated to leave today. Jen had as much fun as I did, and was equally bummed we had to come back to the real world today.

Greg @10YSON... brother, we had a blast hanging out with you these past few days. I ment what I said. We made a lifelong friend over the course of this week. Can't wait to hammer down with you again soon.

I've got pretty much the whole thing. I'll try and post it tomorrow. Even including (I think Rudy, maybe Matt) holding up the driveline as a trophy lol.

Matt drove past our camp Thursday morning and went out to the dune near where we were camped.

That thing DOES do well in the sand. I'll give him that.

Speaking of doing well in the sand...

No better way to test out my freshly installed Solo Long Travel than 5 days at King of the Hammers. She did very well. Nothing came loose, nothing broke... and I got pretty sassy with her in the desert.

You guys were parked by the corner where they sell the chopper’s vest n shit. Anyway, I had a good time even tho I couldn’t find BLGT camp on Friday night, it was a no sight dusty mess when I got to that area, and opted for the desert, actually it was close by the X marked in red! Good times for sure.

We were at back door Thursday night and saw 4-5 rigs make it up. It’s a doable obstacle but I doubt any race car would do it and risk breaking something. Not worth the risk. Chocolate Thunder was pretty dead Thursday night. At least as far as vehicles attempting it. Friday night was a shit show.

@El Taco Diablo I got to check out your rig on Saturday at Chocolate Thunder. You were not around though so we didn’t get to catch up. The truck came out nicely. Hopefully you enjoy the new setup.
