That's going to be fun to explore with.

    What does it weigh?

Nice trailer, hope it gives you the enjoyment you bought it for :) If I was 30 years younger I might consider something like that, but my wife and I have reached the age where our idea of roughing it is a Hilton property without room service :anonymous:

Yep, but my budget is how to travel for under $30 a day.

Hence looking at a InTech Flyer. (Mini Camper/Cargo as both rear doors open so bike goes with me).

If you are going bigger in tires, you'll want to save to regear, or at very least an engine tune, because 285s are going to tank your mpg. When travelling is your game, and you're already tracking your mpg at 14, it sounds like that matters to you. Keeping your OE front bumper helps keep your mpgs up, but you could do a center tray bumper

I found through my several Toyotas I've owned, they are surprisingly fussy to increased tire size as regards mpg and power

Camping camping, not yet. Actually going to Wisconsin this weekend for some outdoor rifle shooting and camping.

No shower for us, not yet at least. Just a bed and galley kitchen.

No AC either, but it does have a really strong fan.

I am concerned about gas mileage, but also want a little more capability off road wise, so thinking 2"ish lift and larger tires would be appropriate.

How much does a regear cost? Any drawbacks?

Was looking at Cali Raised LED center bumper insert with a winch. Anyone have any thoughts on their products?

    Thanks!

About 2000 pounds all loaded up with gear and 17 gallons of water.

Regear - what is your location? I recall about $2500 at a shop near me (Shop near Austin, TX but I'm still running stock tires). Memory is fuzzy but close to the wheels/tires that I was looking at.

I like Cali Raised stuff. Their bumper weighs 77 pounds, not including the winch. About 100 pounds installed. I should install a winch, but with a 950-pound payload (DCLB), I already have about 400 pounds on there (rock sliders at 132#; Skid Plates, RSI Cab).

I'm looking at Intech Flyer Purse. The kitchen is on a slide-out up front, single side door, but with dual rear doors so you can use it to haul stuff, like my velomobile (recumbent bicycle with aero fairing) About 1600 pounds fully loaded, 2200 pound gross.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I believe this is why you see some with an RTT above the Teardrop ;)
