Torch add a leaf had it on for a week. I gave me too much lift 2" was hoping for 1.5" ($25 comes with new center bolts. )

Forgive my ignorance but are the axle shims part of the AAL? Are they necessary to correct for vibrations?

 

not part of the AAL, i have a carrier bearing drop that made them not necessary. Some people need them and some dont.

 

Got it makes sense. Did you get 2 inches of lift from the AAL with or without the shims installed with it?

 

i had the shims installed and it was over 2"

This is for a LONG bed. The listing has been pulled since he marked it as sold to me. However, I got there and it was apparent that it would not fit my truck.

These normally go for $1200 plus on the used market with windoors. It does not have carpeted interior. There is a small piece of fiberglass missing on the passenger side bottom about midway down the camper. I would have tried to patch and have it paint matched. Someone with a black truck would likely just paint it black and forget about it. The hydraulics on the windoors felt good and strong. The sections of weather stripping that I felt were in tact and felt like they were still in good shape. This is an absolute steal for someone.

I told the dude not to re-list it on FB marketplace until I had an opportunity to post it up here and let y'all know that it didn't work out for me. If it weren't a 2.5 hour drive each way, I'd pull the trailer back over and buy it just to flip it. But I'm not doing that and wasn't comfortable trying to put a longbed camper on a shortbed truck. PM me if you want the guys number. He was very nice and had a good vibe. Was a straight shooter, but just didn't realize what he has.

So temping! Are you able to use 20-degree sliders as steps, if needed, or are they too close to the truck body?

 

My old 4runner sliders had way more angle than 20 degrees and I used them as a step all the time. I had to b/c it was on 35's and 7inchs of lift. Using those as a step wont be an issue.
